TEDxConcordiaInternationalSchoolHanoi was founded as a student-led initiative to create a dedicated platform for the exchange of ideas within the Concordia community. From the beginning, the event has encouraged thoughtful inquiry and intellectual reflection through independently organized TED-style talks. Over the years, TEDxConcordiaIntlSchoolHanoi has become an integral part of the school’s academic and cultural landscape, reflecting its commitment to student leadership and the open exchange of ideas.
Our Purpose and Goals
TEDxConcordiaInternationalSchoolHanoi aims to provide a structured space for exploring ideas through an annual theme that frames each event. Within this theme, speakers address complex topics drawn from contemporary issues and personal experiences, encouraging audiences to consider ideas with thoughtful intention. By presenting these topics from multiple perspectives and inviting voices from both within and beyond the school, TEDx promotes critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the role ideas play in shaping how individuals engage with the world.
The Impact on Our School and Community
TEDxConcordiaInternationalSchoolHanoi has contributed to fostering confident communication and thoughtful expression within the school community. Students involved in organizing the event gain experience in communication, operation, and curation, while audiences are exposed to ideas that extend beyond the classroom. Many of the discussions initiated on the TEDx stage continue through academic work, student-led initiatives, and community conversations, contributing to the event’s lasting impact.

“The Bloom Effect” celebrates the transformative power of ideas that grow, spread, and inspire others. Just as one flower blooming can spark an entire field into color, one inspired mind can ignite change that ripples through communities and beyond.
This year’s theme invites us to explore how creativity, resilience, and connection can turn moments of inspiration into movements of growth. In alignment with our school's theme, "To Inspire and Be Inspired," this year's TEDx theme reminds us that inspiration is not only received but actively shared. Through this year's TEDx event, we aim to emphasize how inspiration can multiply, radiate outward, and create lasting impact on our society.
