At Concordia International School Hanoi, our library serves as much more than a quiet space for books. It is a dynamic hub for learning, enjoyment, and community connection.
While cultivating a lifelong passion for reading remains central to our mission, our library also acts as a catalyst for deeper education. By providing access to diverse physical collections and cutting-edge digital resources, we empower our community to make learning more immersive and impactful. Teachers utilize the space for collaborative, inquiry-based lessons, while parents are welcomed into a warm environment that encourages family literacy.
Whether an Elementary student is discovering their favorite story, a High School student is conducting advanced research, or a parent is checking out a new read, the Concordia library remains an indispensable resource for our entire community.

Library Team
Elementary School
Located on the ground floor of Building A, the Elementary School Library is an important resource catering to students, staff, and parents. The Library is open daily before the school day starts, throughout the day with teacher permission, and after school with an adult caregiver. This welcoming space is managed by our Head Librarian and full-time Library Assistant.
Our specialized curriculum spans foundational storytime in Preschool to advanced information literacy and age-appropriate Digital Citizenship in Grades 1–5. Technology and shared book reading are seamlessly integrated into lessons, empowering students to engage deeply with learning and literacy.
Borrowing is built into every regular class, with additional return and borrowing opportunities every morning. We also supply customized leveled readers and curated book collections directly to classrooms.
Beyond daily instruction, the library hosts reading sessions, class meetings, and community events, ensuring it remains an essential resource for our growing learners.
Middle School
Located on the ground floor of Building A, the Library caters directly to the reading, research, and learning needs of Middle School students, faculty, and parents. Staffed by our Head Librarian and full-time Library Assistant, this welcoming center is open daily before class, during lunch and recess, and after school, as well as throughout the day with teacher permission.
Our library actively supports growing student reading interests through curated book selections and class borrowing sessions. In addition to fostering a love for literature, our team collaborates closely with teachers to deliver targeted lessons on information literacy, research skills, and critical resource selection.
As Middle School students transition into more complex academic projects, the library serves as an essential foundation, continuously expanding its role to support advisory research initiatives and empower confident, independent learners.
High School
Located on the 4th floor of Building B, the High School Supplemental Library is a dedicated academic resource for High School students and faculty. Accessible throughout the school day, students can visit during passing times, flex periods, study halls, and scheduled breaks.
Staffed by a full-time Library Assistant, the collection features a rich selection of fiction and non-fiction tailored for young adult and adult readers. To further promote reading for pleasure, we offer a mobile borrowing trolley, an extensive e-book service, and student book-buying requests, often partnering with STUCO to inspire a strong reading culture.
Additionally, the library delivers targeted instructional support upon teacher request, guiding students through essential research tools, academic databases, and efficient note-taking applications to prepare them for university-level studies.

Parents and the Library
The Concordia library is a valuable learning resource for our entire parent community. We welcome parents to visit before and after school, as well as during Family and Student-Led Conference days.
Parents can set up a personal account to borrow up to five books at a time from our diverse collections. Our library team is always here to support your family's reading journey.
