What do unicorns, Nerf Guns, and swimming have in common? Hint: Reception class!

Concordia’s Reception students are having fun learning and engaging in the classroom -  working together, challenging themselves, and making new discoveries. 

In writing, the students are learning to make their own books. “My book is about the park,” said Seva. Other book subjects include “Orcas” (TJ); “Swimming” (Chelsea); “Unicorns,” (Hoang My, Chloe, Eunseo, Yeonwoo, and Yeonseo); “Elephants” (Theo) and “Nerf Guns” (Bin).

In math students are learning to count. “I can count to 190,” said Seamus.
