Grade 5 Chemistry Students Hold Chemistry Fair
Concordia’s 5th grade classes recently held a Chemistry Science Fair.
Using the Next Generation Science Standards, they were able to meet the Disciplinary Core Ideas (below) by creating a science experiment and poster that explored those ideas.
When two or more different substances are mixed, a new substance with different properties may be formed. (5-PS1-4)
No matter what reaction or change in properties occurs, the total weight of the substances does not change. (5-PS1-2)
