Bubbles, balloons and ballasts: Grade 5 students host science fair

Grade 5 students held a science fair, to showcase their experiments. The younger students attended and witnessed their experiments in action.

Prior to the fair, students tested their hypotheses to make sure their experiments worked. Then they made adjustments where necessary.

"It was a lot of work but I think that it was worth it because I worked really hard. It was a lot of fun to see the little kids surprised by what was happening.” Ezra

The science fair was fun and it was exciting to do it. I got to make lots of cool experiments. I did blue bubbles with dry ice as my experiment.” William

"While I was testing my chemistry fair project, I noticed that my hypothesis was incorrect. So my team discussed it together, and as a result it was fixed and proved successfully through the experiment." Yesol
