Today marks the end of Book Week 2019: Lead Your Reading Quest. Over the past 7 days, the elementary school accumulatively read over 7,000 books as they went on their own unique reading journeys.
On Tuesday morning, students participated in an elementary-wide Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) hour. Students, teachers, and visiting parents spread across the first floor in their pajamas and spent 60 minutes focused on reading.
On Wednesday, the entire elementary school showed off their favorite books with creative costumes in a Book Character Parade.
