“I have chosen AP Biology to further my studies in science in preparation for going into medicine,” said Miles (G11). “What I like the most about AP Biology is the type of learning in the classroom, because it is not just studying in a book but applying our information to life. I find my passion in lab experiments, and this course is pushing me to become a better conductor of research. For every lab, we must write up a professional lab report of our findings and methodology. It is going to help me in my future endeavors into the fields of medicine.”
Concordia rotates AP Environmental Science & AP Chemistry, and AP Biology & AP Physics, offering these sets of AP courses every other year, to allow students to take the full range of AP STEM courses. New to the program are AP Economics and AP Physics, which completes our range of STEM offerings.

Advanced Placement (AP) is a United States program created by the College Board which offers university-level curricula and examinations to high school students. The program is widely recognized by US universities as well as universities throughout the world. Most US universities grant placement and course credit to students who score a three to five on the examinations.
