Samuel Cook is starting his 25th year in education and 20th year working overseas. Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, Sam holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Pacific Lutheran University, Master of Arts in Educational Technology, International Leadership Certificate from the Principals’ Training Center, and he has recently completed the International School Leadership Program through Washington State University and San Francisco University.
Sam has taught mathematics and been a school administrator in China, the Philippines, and Indonesia. He is happy to be joining the Concordia family to teach high school mathematics. “I am so excited to live boldly this year at CISH and join the thunder in making a difference in the lives of children in Hanoi,” Mr. Cook said.
Sam is an avid runner and is currently training to compete in his first triathlon later this year. Sam is married to Teresa Cook, who will be teaching Grade 5 at CISH, and together they have three beautiful children, Abby, Zach, and Ashley.
