Oanh, originally from Hanoi, spent 7 years in Poland where she received her Master’s Degree in International Relations from Cracow University in 2008 and later a Certificate of Pedagogic on Professional Teaching Certification Course from Hanoi National University of Education in Vietnam. Oanh also completed a degree in Linguistics at the University of Foreign Trade in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Oanh worked as a volunteer teacher during her time overseas when she not only taught Vietnamese but also educated people on Vietnamese culture and customs. Prior to her work at Concordia Hanoi, she worked with Middle and High School students at the British Vietnamese International School. She has enriched her teaching skills and experience by working within the Vietnamese as well as the International curriculum. Oanh is working as a Vietnamese Culture teacher at Concordia this year. Besides lessons, she is also working as a library assistant with the goal of building a beautiful new library for the school.
Oanh enjoys teaching Vietnamese Cooking as an after school activity. She spends her free time playing with her six year-old son as well as meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. She joined the Concordia Hanoi staff in August of 2013.
