Jeanette moved to Hanoi in July 2015 with her husband of eight years, Rev. Michael Johnston. She joined Concordia International School Hanoi in September 2015 as Elementary Teacher’s Aide. In 2006, shortly after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in the Philippines, she moved to Thailand to begin her teaching career. In Bangkok she worked with private and government schools as well as a private tutor to children from 1-11 years old. The move to Viet Nam completed her fruitful service of four years at her International School in Bangkok as pre-school home room teacher. While working in Bangkok she earned her education with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education at Ramkhamhang University, Thailand. She then earned her Master’s degree in Education and received her teaching license in 2013. Her move to Thailand and Viet Nam has been a positive experience.
Dancing, cycling, boxing and meeting new friends are just a few of the many activities she enjoys. She is happy to be a part of Concordia family.
