Jaylyn Tan is a graduate of Davao Doctors College, Philippines in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. In December 2007, she passed her board examination and became a Registered Nurse and a member of Philippine Nurses Association.
Prior to working as a Nurse in Panacee Medical Clinic for 5 years in Davao, Ms. Tan volunteered as a Nurse at Holy Spirit Medical Hospital (mostly the ER and pediatric wards). In 2013, she went to Bangkok and worked as a Teaching Assistant in Singapore International School of Bangkok. “I always love working surrounded by children and to fulfill my profession as a Nurse- working as a School Nurse at Concordia achieves both and it is a dream come true.”
As a Nurse, Ms. Tan believes that healthy children are successful learners and it is always fulfilling to see the students healthy and safe in their second home.
“I was told it was not easy to work as a nurse in a teachers world,but I love working in Concordia, the teachers are very compassionate and competent. Administrations and staffs are very warm and blissful. I feel blessed to be part of Concordia’s family!”
During her free time, Ms. Tan loves reading books, photography, painting, running and yoga.
