Christina graduated from the University of California, Davis with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Psychology. After graduating from UCD, Christina began working for the university as an Academic Advisor. She truly enjoyed this experience working with and helping students, but chose to take a break from working outside the home once she started having children. When her youngest son was ready to begin school, Christina was excited to return to academic advising, this time as the College Counselor for Concordia.
Christina was born and raised in northern California. Although she is from a small community, exploring the world has always intrigued her. In 2007, when her family had the opportunity to move to Vietnam to work with a small Christian NGO, she was excited to go. At the time she had two boys aged 3 and 1. Since moving to Vietnam, she has had 2 more boys – for a total of 4! During her time in Hanoi, Christina has studied Vietnamese language and culture, been active in one of the international churches and briefly homeschooled 2 of her boys.
Christina enjoys spending time with her family, having coffee with friends, reading, swimming, and cake decorating (when she has the time!)
If you are a University recruiter interested in meeting with Concordia students, please email Christina to set up a school visit.
